Zachary Burns Band with Those Crosstown Rivals Friends since grade school, Zach and Marshall have developed a musical style that is uniquely second nature and universally relevant. Zachary Burns Band strips rock, blues, honky-tonk and Appalachian roots music down to their singular underlying and interconnecting theme; the struggle for and the rejection of the American dream. Their live shows, while grounded in a deep catalog of original material, are highly improvised without succumbing to jam-band excessiveness. The Zachary Burns Band released their debut album, D.I.Y. as a road map for their live shows; inviting the audience along as they explore the endless interpretations and outcomes of each song. An entirely self contained duo, Zach and Marshall control every aspect of their music. Whether it's opting to teach themselves mixing and mastering over seeking an outside source to record their album, or keeping their live shows immediate and raw by performing as a duo that moves as much air as a four piece; they have created a sound that is all their own and ready-made to get stuck in your head.
